New Green Tea Top-grade Green Tea China Si Chuan MENG DING GAN LU Green Tea 250g
This Sichuan green tea is a close "relative" and competitor of the "Green Snails" from Jiangsu. It should be noted separately that this tea is produced in the mountainous region, where there aren't large cities nearby - and this it's itself a considerable plus! The difference between them is quite thin and it isn't easy to distinguish them even to a green tea connoisseur. In many ways, this translates into the plane of personal perception and preferences. Harvest ocured by hand from the topmost shoots.
It is also produces without any mechanization - in the process of making master (working in fabric gloves) crush and press the tea leaves with their hands to the walls of a roasting wok. As a result, the juice is squeezed out, the tea is simultaneously dries, roasts, and curles into the fragrant flagella. After that, it cools to room temperature packs (further keeping of green tea is made in the freezer!).
Taste palette: special, refreshing, slightly grassy taste with floral notes (reminiscent of orchid scent) typical of this sort of green tea, as well as something remotely present in the aftertaste that resembles melted milk.
