Type: Black Tea
Net Weight: 250g Packaging: Paper Origin: Yunnan,China Description: Dian Hong is a black tea from the Yunnan province in China, famous for its golden appearance and rich chocolaty flavour. Golden tippy Yunnan Black is one of the most prized China black teas in the world. Exquisitely smooth and malty with pleasing floral overtones and a tinge of citrus. This very fine Dian Hong pancake is made of delicate downy golden tea buds only, giving it a particularly soft character. The buds are yellowish red in colour and yield a golden orange liquor with dark chocolate notes. The flavour reminds of chocolate dipped fruit, sweet bean paste and caramel, which is well balanced with the malty flavour of a black tea and lingering aftertaste reminiscent of liquorice. This brick is made of selected golden buds from Fengqing area, Yunnan. Harvested in spring, from 1700 meters high mountain, one bud and one leaf material. Brewing Guide: Break the brick, use 5 grams of tea each time. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour water over tea and steep for 3-5 minutes. The tea could make 3-5 infusions. |
